For once in a very long while we are actually having a Fall. Usually we go straight from 80 degree weather to snow, with no middle ground. I am finding myself very grateful for this interlude between Summer and Winter this year. You should probably remind me of this respite when I am bitterly cursing the winter snows.

oh lisa, you captured such a magnificent image! fall is my favorite and pittsburgh has been blessed with an incredible and damned near perfect one this year. so thankful that you are enjoying a great one as well.

I usually get depressed in the fall because I know winter is coming, but this year has been different. A good different.
Don’t tell anyone I said this, but I think fall might be my favorite season. It’s SO damn pretty and it has what I’ve realized are my favorite colors (oranges and reds).

I love the colors too. I’ve always wanted to take a New England Fall Colors tour!
I wish we had a fall. It’s my absolute favorite time of year. The light is gorgeous and all the colors…
Great shop!

I love the light too. It seems so much softer.
Those leaves look like pieces of a puzzle. Great shot.

Thank you! it was a tree in our office complex- the only one who’s leaves had changed. It was beautiful standing among the other green trees.
I’m a bit late to the party but I also love this shot; well done!
It also strikes me as a shot I would’ve struggled with, though I’m not sure I can articulate why.
